The Role

This is a hands-on management position requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will take day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the site, coordinating directly with subcontractors, residents, and our internal project team.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

* Managing and motivating a small on-site team and subcontractors.

* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, CDM requirements, and company procedures.

* Liaising with local stakeholders, including residents and local authorities.

* Planning and coordinating deliveries, crane operations, and logistics in tight city-centre conditions.

* Maintaining detailed site records, reporting progress, and addressing issues proactively.

About You

We’re looking for a practical, proactive Site Manager who enjoys being hands-on and leading by example.

Essential skills and experience:

* Strong Health & Safety and CDM knowledge.

* Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally in air space, rooftop, or complex urban developments.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both site teams and external stakeholders.

* Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and maintain a well-organised site.

Desirable:

* Experience with crane logistics and highways management in constrained city environments.

* SMSTS / CSCS certification or equivalent.
