The Role
• Deliver engaging Sociology lessons to students aged 11-18, inspiring a love for the subject.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school vision.
• Support students’ academic progress and personal development, helping them build confidence and analytical skills.
• Contribute to a thriving Humanities department and the wider school community.
• Take part in enrichment activities, school events, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Sociology or a related field.
• Experience teaching Sociology at KS4 and KS5 (KS3 desirable).
• Enthusiasm for fostering curiosity, debate, and independent thinking.
• Commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
