Data Centre Investment & Development - Associate Level - London, United Kingdom

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Associate to join our growing Data Centre Development & Investment team in London. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing real estate sectors in Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, deal execution, and advisory across the full lifecycle of data centre transactions-spanning development, investment, and financing. You will work closely with colleagues across Capital Markets, Energy & Infrastructure, and our investment banking affiliate, Cantor Fitzgerald, on complex, high-profile transactions throughout the UK and continental Europe. Key Responsibilities Transaction Execution: Lead and support the execution of data centre deals including development land transactions (hyperscale, cloud, and edge), FRI-leased/co-location investment deals, forward funding, and structured capital transactions. Capital Raising & Structuring: Assist in sourcing and structuring capital (debt and equity), working alongside Cantor Fitzgerald on capital placements and financing mandates. Market Research & Business Development: Conduct market intelligence and investor/developer mapping across key European data centre markets to drive deal origination and client development. Investment Analysis & Modelling: Undertake cash flow modelling, investment appraisals, sensitivity analysis, and scenario testing using Excel and industry-standard tools. Marketing & Client Materials: Create and deliver high-quality marketing collateral, pitch books, investment teasers, and transaction documentation. Data Management: Build and manage virtual data rooms, due diligence materials, and documentation for active transactions. Stakeholder Engagement: Support negotiations with investors, developers, landowners, and legal and technical advisors across Europe. Skills and Experience Required Experience in real estate investment, capital markets, corporate finance, or data centre infrastructure-ideally within a leading advisory, investment, or development platform. Demonstrated transaction experience in at least one of the following: land acquisition/disposition, co-location investment sales, forward funding, or debt/equity raising. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage clients and stakeholders at a senior level. Organised, proactive and highly collaborative team player. Knowledge of the European data centre landscape is strongly preferred. Language skills are advantageous.
