Conveyancing Legal Secretary Temp Start ASAP

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a well-respected law firm based in Bexley, is seeking a proactive and dedicated professional to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis.

• Position: Conveyancing Legal Secretary
• Contract Type: Temporary for approx. 3 months
• Hourly Rate: 15.00 - 17.00
• Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to conveyancing solicitors, ensuring smooth operations throughout the property transaction process.
• Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts, forms, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions, providing updates and addressing queries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain an organised filing system, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure that all documentation is easily accessible.
• Assist in the management of deadlines and court dates, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
• Conduct research as required and keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practises in conveyancing.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or in a similar role within a legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and associated documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
