SW Locums is looking for a passionate, experienced and confident Qualified Adult Social Worker to join Redbridge Council in London.

The Opportunity

* Location: Redbridge, London

* Council: Redbridge Council

* Pay Rate: Up to £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)

* Contract: Full-time Locum

* Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

* Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.

* Manage a varied caseload of adults with complex social care needs.

* Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and adult safeguarding enquiries.

* Develop person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans.

* Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for service users.

* Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.

* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

What We're Looking For

* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

* Strong experience within Adult Social Services.

* Excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.

* Confident managing complex caseloads independently.

* Strong assessment, safeguarding and report-writing skills.

* Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills.

* A proactive practitioner with a person-centred approach.
