In House Property Lawyer - Residential Underwriter
THE COMPANY
The UK division of a leading global provider of title insurance and settlement services for residential and commercial real estate transactions. One of the subsidiaries is a leading insurer of risks involving title and related areas of property and property finance. Due to the company's on-going success they now have an exciting opportunity for a high achiever to be involved in major property deals across the UK. THE ROLE As a Residential Property Underwriter you will play a key role in driving business forward in the UK.
The role will involve underwriting high net worth legal indemnity risks, negotiating and maximising business profitability by means of effective and flexible underwriting decision and techniques.
Hybrid working arrangements are available.
ABOUT YOU This is an outstanding opportunity for a solicitor/qualified lawyer with at least 3PQE, or existing legal indemnity underwriter who can demonstrate detailed knowledge of residential property law.
You will have proven experience of handling acquisitions and disposals, landlord & tenant and development work, and the sale and acquisition of sites for development purposes.
