Sous Chef

The Chancery Rosewood - opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is h oused in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

Here, we are seeking a Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen with skill, precision, and a calm, confident presence. Working alongside the Chef de Cuisine, you will be a key player in delivering a menu that is as thoughtful as it is refined. This is a role for a Sous Chef who values excellence, leads with respect, and understands that the best kitchens are built on collaboration, not chaos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that every dish leaving the pass meets the highest standards, maintaining consistency in both quality and presentation.
• Guide and support your team, fostering an environment where everyone is set up for success.
• From HACCP standards to allergen awareness, menu costings to sustainability practicesknow it all and ensure it is executed flawlessly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, keeping operations smooth and service seamless.
• Contribute to menu development and tastings, helping to craft culinary experiences that reflect our commitment to creativity and quality.
