Location Accountant
Searcys have an incredible new opening in the world famous National Gallery this year and are looking for a Location Accounts to join our new Team.
As a Location Accounts for Searcys you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for the venue, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, processing invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Also prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for review by senior management.

Job Description
The Location Accountant will perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure that all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner, assist in preparing budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for location-specific financial performance.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: £37,000
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes for the location, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to address any discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and company financial policies
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings, including VAT returns and other relevant tax documents.
- Provide administrative support to senior finance team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a location-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel proficiency is a must).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial compliance is a plus.
