What you'll do:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Prepare and cook sufficient food with minimal wastage, ensuring food is served promptly and meets quality standards.
• Carry out tasks assigned by senior kitchen staff and coordinate with junior team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Adhere to food hygiene procedures and ensure food is correctly garnished, portioned, and stored to avoid wastage.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, handle feedback professionally, and comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

What you'll bring:

• ESSENTIAL: City & Guilds, NVQ Food Allergens, Health and Safety, Food Safety
• Able to support the sous chef with all aspects of kitchen work
• Follow menus and operational standards
• Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume setting
• Professional cookery or culinary qualifications
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
• Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
