The Opportunity

Our client is building a globally scalable, mass-participation fitness and live events platform and is seeking a Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of international growth.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially driven, investor-facing leader to architect a global expansion strategy from the ground up — owning vision, capital strategy, operating model, and execution.

The role demands a balance of strategic clarity and hands-on leadership across finance, product, operations, and partnerships, with full accountability for building a world-class organisation and delivering large-scale international events.

The Role

Reporting to the Board, the Managing Director will have end-to-end responsibility for the business, including:

• Defining and owning a five-year global growth strategy and scalable operating model

• Leading capital raising, investor engagement, and equity strategy, including financial modelling and deal execution

• Full P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management

• Driving product and experience evolution across live events, ensuring global consistency and brand integrity

• Designing and building the senior leadership team and organisational structure

• Overseeing international event delivery, operational systems, safety, risk, and compliance frameworks

• Developing strategic partnerships and commercial revenue streams across events, merchandise, and licensing

Candidate Profile

This role will suit a senior executive with a strong track record in scaling consumer-facing, experiential, or live events businesses internationally.

You will bring:

• Proven experience leading high-growth businesses or divisions at MD / CEO / GM level

• Deep commercial and financial acumen, with credibility in investor-led environments

• Experience raising capital and working directly with institutional or private investors

• Operational expertise in complex, multi-territory delivery environments

• The gravitas to lead partners, investors, and teams through rapid global expansion
