A lovely family based in Brentford, London, is seeking an experienced Child-Friendly Housekeeper to help maintain their 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of housekeeping experience and will speak fluent English. Someone who speaks Tagalog would be a bonus. The family is looking for someone reliable, organised, detail-oriented, and confident maintaining a private residence with carpet flooring.

The role will mainly focus on housekeeping duties, including floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen upkeep, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, bed making, and dish care. The candidate should be confident maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented home.

Light childcare support will also be required for their 2-year-old child. This may include supporting early learning and language development through reading, puzzles, and creative play, as well as ensuring the child’s safety at home and during outdoor outings, such as park trips.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday and Friday, with flexibility. Weekend hours may also be considered. Around 10 hours per week.

Duties include:

• maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• caring for carpet flooring
• dusting, polishing, and detailing furniture, fixtures, and delicate surfaces
• deep cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
• cleaning sinks, showers, and tubs
• keeping the kitchen clean and well organised
• cleaning countertops, appliances, and surfaces
• managing laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes and linens
• ironing and organising garments
• stripping, changing, and making beds with fresh linens
• hand washing delicate items
• loading and unloading the dishwasher
• supporting early learning through reading, puzzles, and creative play
• ensuring the child’s safety at home and during outdoor outings

The family is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
