Workday expertise. Real ownership. The opportunity to shape what comes next.
We're working with a global professional services organisation investing significantly in its People technology and looking for an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong Workday Absence & Time Tracking expertise.
This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership, working across People, IT and the wider business to design, configure and optimise Workday solutions.
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing, configuring, testing and deploying Workday solutions across Absence & Time Tracking
- Translating business requirements into scalable system solutions
- Leading change requests, enhancements and continuous improvement
- Troubleshooting complex configuration and business process issues
- Working with IT on integrations and downstream impacts
- Supporting Workday releases and identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Using tools including EIBs, PECI, reporting, People Analytics and Worksheets
- Working with an external provider and acting as a key escalation point
We're looking for:
- Strong hands-on Workday experience in a medium/large, complex organisation
- Advanced/expert configuration experience across Absence & Time Tracking
- Experience taking requirements through design, configuration, testing and implementation
- Knowledge of wider Workday functionality including HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Compensation, Security and Reporting
- Experience with EIBs and an understanding of integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to influence stakeholders across a global environment
This isn't simply a role maintaining an existing system. There is significant investment underway and real scope to influence how Workday is configured, optimised and used across the business.
If you're a Workday specialist who enjoys being the SME but also wants to understand the wider business and make tangible improvements, we'd love to hear from you.
