Senior Project Manager - Life Sciences (Contract)

FPC Life Sciences is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager on a contract basis to lead the delivery of key projects for our Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping successful project outcomes through leadership, strategic execution, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery – from concept to handover – ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, including senior leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and contractors.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, GMP standards, and best practices.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to project teams.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to meet critical deadlines.
- Manage procurement, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Identify new business opportunities and support growth initiatives within FPC Life Sciences.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience in Capital Investment Projects within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector .
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects in regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of GMP compliance and facility delivery.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Agile/Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
