Seaborn is a brand new café opening in Newington Green in July, and we’re on the lookout for a skilled, energetic, and people-focused Barista to help bring it to life.

We’ll be serving great coffee and flavour-packed sandwiches in a playful yet quality-driven environment. We’ve partnered with Fireheart Coffee, who’ll be providing us with incredible coffee, top-tier equipment, and expert support, ensuring our brews are as sharp as our service from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take the lead on all things coffee—from dial-ins to training and daily service
• Ensure every coffee meets our quality standards, even during peak rushes
• Support the overall day-to-day running of the café, jumping in wherever needed
• Maintain clean, organised, and efficient bar and service areas
• Collaborate with the kitchen and FOH team to create a smooth, enjoyable customer experience
• Contribute ideas, coffee specials, and improvements to keep things fresh and fun

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

• Have experience as a senior or junior barista in a busy speciality café
• Are deeply passionate about quality coffee and the craft behind it
• Lead by example and love sharing knowledge with others
• Can work fast, stay calm, and keep things positive under pressure
• Communicate clearly and proactively with your team and managers
• Know your way around coffee equipment and aren’t afraid of a little maintenance
• Are excited by the energy of a new opening and enjoy being part of a build-from-scratch team
• (Bonus) Have basic troubleshooting skills and a good palate for dial-ins
