Year 6 Teacher | Primary School in Hounslow

What we are looking for:
- QTS with recent KS2 teaching experience, ideally including Year 6
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire pupils
- High expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development
- Strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Collaborative, reflective, and organised approach to teaching and learning
- Passion for promoting learning beyond the classroom through enrichment activities and projects
Key responsibilities:
- Teach a Year 6 class full-time, preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments while fostering independence and a love of learning
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
- Track pupil progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning
- Support and contribute to whole-school initiatives and year group planning
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing, confidence, and resilience
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils’ learning and development
