Conference Officer in London Area
Job description
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Conference Officer to join our team on a short-term contract. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a logistical mindset who can confidently manage operations, communications, and stakeholder coordination in the lead-up to and during a busy event period.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing logistics and stakeholder comms in the run-up to the conference
- Producing an 8-page, double-sided conference booklet (with graphic designer support)
- Coordinating sponsor materials, delegate packs, and bags
- Handling all on-the-ground logistics during conference week
- Ensuring everything runs smoothly under tight timelines and high expectations
Who we're looking for:
- A detail-driven organiser with strong logistical thinking
- Someone with excellent written communication skills
- A calm, hands-on problem solver who thrives under pressure
- Previous conference or large event experience is a plus!
