About the roleArondite is looking for mission-driven Deployment Strategists to lead the planning and execution of implementing our technology with customers. You'll be responsible, end-to-end, for making sure we are solving customers' real-world problems. You will work closely with frontline users to ensure our systems are deployed effectively, safely, and with maximum operational impact. You will need to be a technologist, capable of communicating using both specialist terminology and simple jargon-free language, depending on audience. You will need a deep understanding of both technical systems and operational realities, and should be adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure. The role will require significant travel, often in challenging environments, but you will have the opportunity to shape our product offering and directly impact the lives of end users. Your responsibilities will include: Engaging with users to map workflows, pain points, and operational constraintsIdentifying and framing customer problems that align with our product vision for CobaltCollaborating with customers to prioritise the highest-value problems to solveDesigning and guiding iterative delivery plans that alleviate user pain and demonstrate value quicklyActing as the bridge between users, product, and engineering to ensure solutions remain aligned with operational realitiesLeading the technical delivery across interconnected workstreamsTranslating business goals into a structured roadmap with milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteriaChampioning a user-centric approach across the deployment and wider companyRequirements Arondite aims to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and with different perspectives. You should have: Have strong technical fluency and sharp sequencing instinctsStrong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skillsIndependent decision-making under pressureWillingness to travel and work on-site with customers for a significant proportion of your time Ideally, you would also have: Experience in defence or defence technologyBasic programming ability, such as python or bash scripts, or command-line / terminal familiarityAn engineering background or degree Deployed work at AronditeAll 'deployed' roles at Arondite involve working closely with customers at their UK locations, and when they go abroad. This can mean being away from our office for between 1 and 4 days a week on a regular basis, or going abroad for up to 2 or 3 weeks every few months. As this is a big commitment, we endeavour to maintain flexibility in resourcing to support people's personal circumstances. Right to WorkWe require that all candidates have an existing Right to Work in the UK at the time of application. Security clearanceWe believe in working closely with defence customers. As a result, this role requires undergoing UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above. This normally requires having continuous residency in the UK for at least 5 years. Office vs Hybrid workingWe are focused on building a positive, collaborative engineering-driven culture. We therefore believe in making the office a friendly, comfortable and fun place to be, and we try to work from the office where possible. Of course, there are times when it makes sense for you to work from home and that's OK. As a Deployment Strategist you will also need to travel to visit customers.
