First People Solutions is working with a well-established consulting engineer who are looking to grow their team with the addition of a Civil CAD Technician in Glasgow.

The Role

Our client is a respected consultancy delivering innovative engineering solutions across the rail, transportation, energy, and structural sectors. As a CAD Technician, you will:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for a variety of civil engineering projects
• Ensure all outputs comply with relevant industry standards and meet design specifications
• Collaborate closely with project leads and the wider design team
• Support the smooth delivery of projects

What We're Looking For

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, CAD, or related discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in a UK design engineering environment
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, ideally MicroStation, with experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D also valuable
• A proactive team player with excellent attention to detail
