Nanny-Housekeeper needed in Hertfordshire, Live-in basis, Job ID J1ECE5
A full-time Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed in Barnet, Hertfordshire, to support the family in caring for their three school-aged children while managing household duties. The mother is very hands-on and is looking for someone to provide an extra helping hand with childcare. The role includes assisting with morning and bedtime routines, some school and activity pick-ups and drop-offs, and maintaining the home while the children are at school, offering plenty of free time during the day. The household includes one cat, two budgies, and two guinea pigs, though no pet care is required. A driver is required, and a valid first aid qualification is essential for this role.
Working hours: Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Flexibility required.
Accommodation: Separate floor with private bedroom and bathroom.
Duties include:
- preparing healthy meals and snacks
- playing with the children
- attending various playdates
- helping with the bedtime routine
- doing the laundry and ironing
- dusting
- hoovering the carpets and floors
- ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
- polishing the floor
- preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
- cleaning up after meals
- changing bedsheets once a week
- maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family
