Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities Operations and Workplace Experience, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role, taking full responsibility for operational delivery, statutory compliance, and client relationships across a prestigious multi-campus estate.

Leading a dedicated team of approximately 145 facilities professionals, you’ll drive the delivery of Hard FM and Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services while ensuring exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity that combines technical expertise, strategic operational management, and senior stakeholder engagement.

The Role

About You

We’re looking for an inspiring operational leader who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional people management and stakeholder engagement skills.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong technical expertise across Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, statutory compliance and building services.
  • Experience leading and developing large operational teams, driving engagement, accountability and performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • A commercial mindset with experience managing operational budgets and delivering value for money.
  • A data-driven, solutions-focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
