What you'll do

You're joining a team that's passionate about building on the foundations of our 'one-bank' approach to deliver simple, safe and secure solutions for NatWest Markets, enabling our people, clients and businesses to thrive.

In this role, you'll drive the focus on delivering customer value across eTrading programmes in partnership with various stakeholders, ensuring they follow the appropriate objectives, structure and scope.

You'll prepare and take ownership for all project plans, controls, and resources, as well as progress reporting, ensuring the plan is in line with any wider programme plans and controls. This role offers considerable interaction as you'll work with stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains, and functions collaborating closely with technology, business and support functions.

In addition, you'll:

  • Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Lead and define a project initiation document or equivalent Agile artefact, ensuring that the solution clearly supports and is aligned to the bank's strategic goals
  • Make sure that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed governance framework
  • Build and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains and functions, and at different levels of hierarchy
The skills you'll need

We're on the lookout for someone with experience of delivering programme management in a Technology or IT function using Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies.

You'll also need:

  • Experience of delivering strategic projects that support the business strategy and growth agenda
  • Proven success in delivering complex change projects, leading cross-functional teams across different regions and time zones
  • Demonstrated ability to improve delivery practices through the adoption of new and emerging delivery practices
  • Strong communication, planning and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in FX electronic trading
