Graduate Bid Writer
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate to join a company that focuses on helping SMEs win contracts and compete in their fields as a Graduate Bid Writer. This role offers a chance to develop your career and make a real impact by contributing to major contract wins.
The right person will be offered £25-30k depending on experience, and training on company systems and techniques will be provided. Here's what you'll be doing:- Project coordination and workload management
- Presenting information effectively to stay competitive
- Using proven techniques to write varied bids and tenders across sectors
- Gaining and acting upon feedback when unsuccessful to ensure future wins
- Developing client relationships through excellent service
- Being part of a hard-working, professional team that strives to deliver outstanding results
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a writing-based field such as English or Law
- Some experience in a technical writing role is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Embody core values like tenacity, initiative and attention to detail
- Experience undertaking extensive writing projects responding to briefs
- Passion for writing and a competitive spirit
- Ability to work on own initiative while supporting company goals
- Ability to gather and present persuasive evidence
- Creativity, adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Skills to prepare information methodically and carefully
- Focus to respond accurately to requirements and deadlines
