Clinical Specialist - Neurological Physiotherapist (Bank)

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Duties Of This Role Include

• Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning to create and implement tailored treatment and rehabilitation programmes
• Actively contribute to MDT meetings, goal-setting sessions, and family reviews.
• Support and mentor junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, or students.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical documentation in line with HCPC and CHG standards.
• Contribute to service development projects and innovation in neurological rehabilitation
  Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Significant post-graduate experience in physiotherapy with a substantial proportion in neurological rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of neurological conditions, rehabilitation approaches, and evidence-based practice.
• Experience in goal setting, outcome measurement, and multidisciplinary working.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload.
• Must have experience in an outpatient setting.
