Broker Technician - Marine & Aviation
As a Technical Services Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both pre-inception and post-placement activities. You'll be responsible for processing technical documentation, including evidence of cover, premium processing, bureaux submissions, credit control, and file/record management. You will also provide wider technical support to the team and assist with client and underwriter correspondence when required - ensuring all documentation meets client needs and adheres to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Process a range of technical documentation related to Marine and Aviation risks
- Support premium processing, bureaux submissions, and credit control
- Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation
- Liaise with underwriters and clients as needed
- Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory and company quality standards
- Provide general technical support to the wider team
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical support role within the (re)insurance industry
- Solid understanding of the London insurance market
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Cert CII qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Marine and/or Aviation market knowledge
