Kind and Experienced Part-Time Nanny for Toddler in Twickenham

A warm family in Twickenham (TW1) is looking for a kind, conscientious, and experienced nanny to provide sole care for their delightful 2-year-old daughter.

This is a part-time position, Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the possibility of extending to a fourth day in the future.

We are seeking a nanny who truly loves working with toddlers. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, and have a good sense of humor, along with a strong understanding of child development and milestones. Your focus will be on ensuring the little girl has a wonderful time on 'nanny days' through a balance of engaging and fun developmental activities, from local outings and playdates to educational play at home, such as baking, arts and crafts, and imaginary play. A passion for early education, including teaching phonics, numbers, and colors, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
Childcare: Sole care of the 2-year-old, including all nursery duties.
Safety: Your top priority is the little girl's safety. You will be highly mindful as she explores the world around her, always watchful and close by.
Development: Planning and implementing educational and fun developmental activities.
Collaboration: Working in partnership with the parents to provide a consistent and secure environment.

Candidate Requirements
Personality: We are looking for a nanny who is kind, affectionate, and incredibly warm.
Experience: Must have impeccable references and a strong understanding of toddler development.
Empathy: The little girl has recently undergone some changes, and we are keen to find a special person with empathy, patience and understanding to help her transition.
Reliability: The parents rely heavily on their nanny as they have no family close by, so a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic is essential.

Logistics: A driver with their own car is required, and parking is available.

Allergies: Please note that the family has an elderly cat.
Documentation: An up-to-date Enhanced DBS and First Aid certification are required

Salary: £19-£20 gross per hour
