About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons tailored for part-time availability, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love for exploration in the kitchen, practical skills, and a strong foundation in nutrition.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Integrate safe and responsible kitchen practices within the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to school-wide events (as applicable for the part-time schedule).
We Seek a Candidate Who:
- Possesses a qualified teacher status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related discipline (e.g., Hospitality, Catering).
- Demonstrates a passion for food and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
