The Role
As the Account Partner for Veeva Development Cloud, you will be part of the team representing the Vault Development Cloud and Quality Solutions (Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and Safety) for selected Pharma and Biotech companies.
Your responsibilities include nurturing and expanding relationships within the accounts, winning new business, overseeing renewals, and consistently offering innovative solutions.
What You'll Do
- Manage and extend relationships with key stakeholders across Business, IT, and C-level
- Hold accountability for developing and implementing account vision, strategy, and ways of working
- Serve as the custodian for your customers within Veeva by focusing on their needs and doing the right thing for them
- Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
- Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges
- Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer
- Meet/Exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
Requirements
- 5+ years combined experience across sales, account management, and consulting services
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Sales experience with Life Science Software Solutions
- Excellent account planning and execution skills
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of customers, from end users to C-level
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
- A passion for solving customer business problems
- Must have a team-first mentality
- Business-level fluency in German and, English and other European languages are beneficial
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of account management within the Life Science industry
- Understanding of R&D software solutions, particularly Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and Safety
