Responsibilities

• The Design & Technology Teacher will deliver rigorous instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
• The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced design analysis, practical fabrication, and iterative problem-solving skills.
• They must lead engaging sessions utilizing the school’s workshops and contribute to the maintenance of equipment and safety programmes.
• The Design & Technology Teacher is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes, particularly for higher education pathways in engineering or design.
• The teacher must actively participate in departmental planning and support relevant co-curricular clubs.

Requirements

• Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Design & Technology.
