What You’ll Be Doing: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant , you’ll support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 by:

• Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities and pupil engagement
• Leading small group and 1:1 sessions in core subjects such as phonics, literacy, and numeracy
• Supporting pupils with SEN or EAL needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to maintain structured routines
• Collaborating with teaching and support staff to adapt learning resources
• Fostering pupil confidence, independence, and motivation

About You: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for graduates who are:

• Educated to degree level (2:1 or above preferred) – Psychology, Education, English or similar subjects ideal
• Passionate about child development and inclusive education
• Friendly, proactive, and confident in working with children
• Experienced in any educational or youth-based setting (e.g., mentoring, tutoring, volunteering)
• Considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, speech therapy, or related fields
