EYFS Teacher | Kingston
Are you a creative, reflective EYFS Teacher seeking a full-time role in a Good Kingston primary from January 2026? This EYFS Teacher position starts January 2026 and invites a passionate practitioner to lead play-based, language-rich Early Years provision. The EYFS Teacher will work with a committed EYFS team and benefit from targeted CPD after the January 2026 induction.
About the role — EYFS Teacher
The EYFS Teacher will plan high-quality provision, deliver focused phonics and language sessions and design rich continuous provision as the EYFS Teacher. The EYFS Teacher will assess children against the Early Learning Goals, communicate progress to families and refine learning environments. As the EYFS Teacher you will prepare resources prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and start teaching from January 2026.
EYFS Teacher Responsibilities
• Lead systematic phonics and story-rich sessions as the EYFS Teacher.
• Design and develop indoor and outdoor provision and lead parent workshops as the EYFS Teacher.
• Use high-quality observation to monitor progress and plan next steps as the EYFS Teacher.
• Support transition to Year 1 and liaise closely with the KS1 team around January 2026 handover activities.
EYFS Teacher Requirements
Applicants should be a qualified EYFS Teacher with appropriate experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for early years pedagogy. The EYFS Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026 and to teach from January 2026. Experience of leading provision, supporting children with SEND and engaging families is advantageous for the EYFS Teacher.
