Personal Tax Senior / Supervisor
Lovely firm with traditional family values are looking for another personal tax senior or supervisor for their private client team.
With a broad mix of private client work on offer, you will be looking after your own portfolio. Much of the annual compliance work is outsourced, with the exception of the more complex cases, thus allowing you to offer additional services to your clients and work on projects within the team.
You will enjoy lots of interesting work, compliance review and advisory. There’s a good mix of domestic and non dom / international work in the client base. You will get to spend lots of time with your clients, as well as more senior members of the team. There’s always the opportunity to get involved in different things.
Ideally you will have studied for the ATT as a minimum. Full support for the CTA is offered, but it is not essential you continue with professional qualifications if you don’t wish to do so. You will however have enough experience to be quite self-sufficient, with the awareness to highlight any potential issue as it arises. Each member of staff will work to a limited number of Partners in order to reduce conflicts of interest in prioritising your workload.
Although personal and corporate tax are separate, there will be some crossover of work, for example a joint project managing the sale of a business, whilst looking after the profit extraction for the business owner / shareholder. You might also be asked to lend a hand on a tax investigation. There’s never a dull day at the office!
