SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the London Borough of Croydon, supporting pupils aged 9–18. Role Details:
• Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time)
• Pay: £95 – £105 per day
• Start Date: September 2026 (trial days available now)
• Contract: Monday to Friday, term-time only
• Duration: Full academic year (with potential to become permanent)
• Location: Croydon, London
Your as a SEN Learning Support Assistant responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing
• Supporting students with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN in Croydon
• A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach
• Able to commute to Croydon on a daily basis
• Confidence in supporting personal care as a SEN Learning Support Assistant
• Previous experience in education or care settings
