Job Title: HSE Lead – Data Centres (Weekend Only)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Lead to support a major data centre project in London. This is a client-facing and technically demanding role that requires a confident communicator able to liaise with multiple key stakeholders, including the end client, EPC contractors, and specialist subcontractors.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across a complex and high-value project, working closely with project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site walk-throughs, safety inspections, and behavioural observations to proactively identify risks and drive improvements.

Liaise directly with end clients, EPC, and subcontractors, providing clear advice and building trusted relationships.

*

Ensure all site activities comply with HSE legislation, company policies, and client requirements.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.

*

Prepare and present concise reports and updates for senior stakeholders.

*

Provide coaching and guidance to contractors and site teams to embed a strong safety culture.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an HSE Lead / HSE Manager within construction or data centre environments.

*

Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations.

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

*

Able to work independently, taking ownership of HSE delivery during weekend operations.

*

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
