Technical Product Owner - £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum DOE

Our Technical Product Owner will play a key role in driving the execution and delivery of our innovative parking solutions. This hands-on position focuses on managing and optimising transactions systems, ensuring seamless functionality of features such as real time availability, payment processing and user interfaces. Acting as a bridge between the technical teams and business stakeholders you will prioritise tasks, resolve blockers and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog, creating actionable user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
  • Over see the execution of key features like mobile app updates, booking engines and parking space sensors to meet user and business needs.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and our technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
  • Work closely with Developers to ensure technical feasibility, system performance and compliance with security and industry standards.
  • Address and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimising disruptions to system functionality.
  • Analyse data to recommend improvements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years in technical product ownership, ideally in consumer facing solutions.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks based on business value, customer impact and technical feasibility.
  • Strong technical knowledge to work with development teams and understand the architecture of transactional systems (API, databases, integrations)
  • Experience with technical documentation, system design and workflows to ensure clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify blockers and obstacles, work to resolve them and ensure project delivery on time.
  • Experience with Agile Frameworks and tools.
  • While not essential, experience in the parking or transport sector would be beneficial to understand the specific challenges and technologies involved.
