We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Subject Matter Expert who will play a key technical leadership role across architecture, development, best practices, and mentoring. The ideal candidate is someone with deep hands on expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js , along with strong solutioning and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead endtoend technical design and architecture for scalable MERN applications.
• Define coding standards, performance benchmarks, and best practices for MERN based solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design walkthroughs.
• Guide teams in building microservices based and cloud native applications.

Development & Delivery

• Develop and maintain high quality, efficient, and reusable MERN components.
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and database layers.
• Work with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD, containerization (Docker/K8s), and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the goto MERN expert for product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Support presales, consultations, and technical proposals when required.

Coaching & Mentoring

• Upskill development teams through technical sessions, code reviews, and handson guidance.
• Create technical documentation, playbooks, and reusable frameworks.
• Mentor junior developers and support capability building within the MERN practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands on experience in MERN Stack development.
• Strong expertise in:
• React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux desirable)
• Node.js & Express.js
• MongoDB (schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL (preferred), and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
• Experience deploying applications on Azure , AWS , or GCP .
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience in performance tuning for hightraffic applications.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience as a technical mentor, architect, or SME.
