Our client, a leading global digital gaming company, is seeking a talented professional to take ownership of their Databricks strategy and drive innovation across their industry-leading brands.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the Databricks strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximum value extraction.
- Serve as the Databricks subject matter expert, acting as the key architect for Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Science teams.
- Establish templates and frameworks to streamline collaboration, data sharing, and enablement across the organization.
- Manage Unity Catalog, including permissions, usage, paths, and implementation to ensure data accessibility, security, and reliability.
- Provide training, support, and guidance on best practices for Databricks usage, cost management, and performance optimization.
- Monitor platform usage to inform decisions on resource allocation, cost control, and deprecation of redundant services.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with Databricks platform architecture, administration, and optimization.
- Proficiency in Unity Catalog management, including access control, data governance, and implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in monitoring Databricks usage and optimizing cost efficiency.
- Experience delivering training sessions on Databricks best practices and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and Databricks integration.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of the sports betting and online gaming industry, including market trends and player behavior.
- Understanding of gambling regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in customer retention strategies within the iGaming sector.
