Youth and Children’s Specialist
We are hiring for a Youth and Children’s Specialist to join an international Christian organisation working to support communities and deliver faith-based initiatives worldwide.
Position: VAC0139 Youth and Children’s Specialist
Location: London/Hybrid
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £39,794.01 p/a plus travel to work allowance up to £3,800 p/a
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme; generous travel to work allowance; 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum; café discount.

About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to shape and support international discipleship for children and young people, equipping leaders and amplifying youth voices across a global movement. You will identify and share emerging trends and best practices in youth and children’s ministry, while creating engaging, theologically grounded and culturally relevant discipleship materials and resources. The role also involves supporting organisational commitments to improving environmental impact in line with strategy and policy.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in children’s and/or youth ministry at local, regional, or national level (ideally at church/community level)
- Strong theological grounding with a passion for spiritual development in youth and children
- The ability to create relevant, engaging discipleship resources across diverse cultural contexts
- Skills in recognising and sharing global trends and emerging practices in youth and children’s discipleship
- Effective communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills
