The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering regulatory and business change initiatives within a pensions environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, operational teams, and delivery partners to analyse current processes, define future-state solutions, and support successful implementation across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading business analysis activities across regulatory change and transformation programmes

• Ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned to programme and regulatory standards

• Facilitating workshops to gather, define, and validate business and operational requirements

• Producing clear AS-IS and TO-BE process maps and identifying opportunities for improvement

• Supporting delivery teams with user stories, requirements documentation, and business rules

• Conducting gap analysis, impact assessments, and process reviews across operational functions

• Working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes

• Supporting change initiatives within complex governance and compliance-driven environments

• Collaborating with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition into BAU

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and delivery-focused Senior Business Analyst with proven experience working on regulatory change initiatives within pensions or closely related environments. You’ll be comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and able to quickly understand operational and regulatory processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven Business Analyst experience delivering regulatory change within pensions

• Knowledge of pensions regulation and compliance

• Strong process mapping skills (AS-IS / TO-BE)

• Experience gathering requirements and facilitating workshops

• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams

• Skilled in impact assessments, gap analysis, and documentation

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently

• Public sector or government experience preferred

• Comfortable working in fast-paced transformation environments

Desirable:

• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes

• Agile or hybrid delivery experience

• Consultancy or operational change experience
