Academics Ltd is currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming early years setting within a primary school in Harrow from September 2025.
* Position: Nursery Nurse
* Start Date: September 2025
* Location: Harrow, North West London
* Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
* Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education desirable)
Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote all areas of early development
* Observe and monitor children’s progress, recording and reporting outcomes clearly
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
* Contribute to maintaining a high-quality and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* A recognised childcare qualification (minimum Level 3 required)
* Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting
* Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development
* Strong communication and team working skills
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
* A valid, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
