Visual Merchandiser

Loaf
London

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and homewares that help people lead more comfortable lives. Founded in 2008, Loaf has steadily grown each year to become one of the leading premium furniture and homeware brands in the UK. We now have 11 Shacks (stores to everyone else!), with more on the way. It's an exciting time to join an ambitious business.

The Visual Merchandiser supports the Visual Merchandising Manager in the planning,
coordination, and execution of all visual merchandising activity across our Shacks and Head Office. This includes new Shack openings, Shack and office shuffles, seasonal campaigns, and maintaining the highest display and styling standards in line with the Loaf brand. The role requires strong creative, organisational, and communication skills to ensure every Shack remains visually inspiring, commercial, and on-brand.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to be at the heart of Loaf’s visual identity, working
alongside a creative and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and be excited to contribute to a company that’s evolving and growing. You’ll help ensure our Shacks remain engaging and on-brand while efficiently supporting the visual merchandising direction and execution

(Hybrid role: 1 -2 days a week in the office, 2-3 days visiting shacks and max 2 days WFH)

The Job

VM Standards, Campaigns & Styling Execution

  • Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in upholding Shack visual merchandising standards across all sites.
  • Work closely with Shack Managers and their teams to guide and support the execution of VM styling guides, layouts, and product displays.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of seasonal and brand campaigns in Shacks, such as window displays and in-store presentations for key retail moments
    (e.g. Christmas, Easter).
  • Ensure consistency in room set presentation and styling that reflects the Loaf brand.
  • Assist in communicating and implementing new VM initiatives and updates across all stores.

Project & Logistics Support

  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Head of Shacks to plan and review new Shack openings and Shuffle projects.
  • Help develop and manage critical paths/Gantt charts to support smooth execution of VM rollouts.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of new and replacement products, ensuring minimal disruption to Shack operations.
  • Facilitate product rotation in line with product launches and discontinued lines.

Inventory & Order Management

  • Raise Shack sales orders and returns in Microsoft Dynamics (Nav) and support communication of key updates to relevant teams.
  • Liaise with internal purchasing teams to monitor and support the timely delivery of products.
  • Track product costs for insurance purposes and support updates following Shuffles or openings.

Supplier & External Coordination

  • Support coordination of external services such as paintwork, signage, and couriers where necessary.
  • Help resolve post-delivery product issues through collaboration with suppliers and
    internal teams.
  • Liaise with the Head of Logistics regarding relevant stock deliveries.

Visual Asset Management

  • Maintain and update all display products and visual assets across sites.
  • Keep a log of quality control (QC) issues arising in Shack and liaise with QC and VM Manager for timely resolution.
  • Order and manage fabric swatches and hanging lengths for launches and replacements.
  • Keep master room set decks current following product updates or Shuffles.

Shack Visits & Execution

  • Visit Shacks regularly to support the maintenance and consistency of VM standards.
  • Collaborate with Shack Managers on decorative or styling changes in line with the Loaf brand.
