This is a PART TIME/FULL TIME vacancy, with shifts based over (ENTER DAYS), and a wage starting at £(ENTER AMOUNT) per hour!
About Us:
We are Barrio Bars. Bringing a slap of Latin attitude to a neighbourhood near you. With slammin’ party joints in North, South, East, West & Central London. Slingin’ authentic Margaritas, ice cold beers & filthy tacos all week long – and on weekends – that’s when the party comes alive. From a quiet afternoon sipping a margarita and sharing tacos, to shots of tequila and salsa moves, our bars are an experience of a lifetime!
What We Need:
As a Host/Hostess, you will greet and welcome customers, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Capable of handling different bookings at the same time, deal with our guests' reservations and make sure that they receive the most iconic welcome there is!
- Escort guests to their tables and give them the best tour around our cocktail menu. We want to hear your recommendations.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests over the phone.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the entryway, waiting area, and restrooms.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up the host stand and organizing reservation books.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests in a polite and engaging manner.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle a high volume of guests during busy times.
- Positive and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and address any issues that may arise.
