Senior Mechanical Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading MEP contractor delivering a flagship project in London Bridge.
You’ll take full ownership of a £30M mechanical package, managing design completion, coordination, and system integration from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and project performance.

The Role:
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a major mechanical package on a landmark project in the heart of London. You’ll oversee coordination between design, construction, and commissioning teams — ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability remain central to project delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to work on one of London’s most exciting developments while contributing to innovative, large-scale building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate mechanical works and MEP design activities
* Manage subcontractor and supplier interfaces across all project stages
* Drive safety, quality, and sustainability throughout delivery
* Integrate modern methods of construction (MMC) and digital tools to improve efficiency
* Support the project management team in achieving programme and budget targets
Requirements:
* Proven background in mechanical engineering and system commissioning
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and programme control
* Experience in commercial management and procurement
* Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
* Relevant technical qualifications (BTEC/HNC/Degree)
* Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications preferred
