About the Role

As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with your own van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.

What We Offer

• A competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
• Guaranteed overtime options to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Role in Our Team

As a Mobile Mechanic, you will:

• Connect with Customers: Engage with customers on driveways, providing advice and representing the RAC with pride.
• Embrace Variety: Handle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks while managing stock and maintaining customer relationships.
• Think on Your Feet: Make informed decisions for each customer, facing new challenges every day.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
