This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled underwriting team in one of the most dynamic and rapidly developing areas of the insurance market.The successful candidate will provide essential underwriting support across new business, renewals, and policy administration, ensuring the smooth running of the team and maintaining strong broker relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist underwriters in the preparation of quotes, renewals, and endorsements.Review, check, and process underwriting documentation with accuracy.Maintain up-to-date records and data entry across internal systems.Support underwriters in assessing risk and preparing submissions.Liaise with brokers, clients, and internal departments to ensure efficient workflow.Monitor premium payments and ensure compliance with company procedures.Produce management information and reports as required.Carry out research to support underwriting decisions, particularly in renewable and power risks.Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in an underwriting assistant or underwriting support role within insurance (essential).Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively.Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills for broker and client engagement.Good IT literacy, including MS Office and underwriting systems.Knowledge of power, renewable energy, or technical risks is desirable, but not essential.A proactive, team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in developing an underwriting career.What's on OfferOpportunity to join a specialist MGA with an established reputation in power and renewable energy risks.Exposure to a broad range of complex risks, including renewable projects, conventional power, and emerging technologies.A supportive and collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Hybrid working model (London-based).??
