We’re seeking a reliable and multi-skilled Maintenance Handy Person to join the on-site facilities team at Capgemini’s UK Head Office in central London.

Working as part of a professional, customer-focused facilities team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day building maintenance, supporting the smooth operation of this prestigious office environment.

From general fabric repairs to assisting with mechanical and electrical maintenance, this is a hands-on and varied role suited to a proactive all-rounder who takes pride in keeping a workplace running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You’ll also have opportunities to get involved in weekend project works and benefit from ongoing training and development within one of the UK’s leading integrated facilities providers.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine planned and reactive maintenance on building services, including lighting, air handling units, and small power systems.

* Support basic plumbing, joinery, and general fabric repairs across the site.

* Assist engineers with M&E maintenance and minor installation works.

* Complete all maintenance documentation, logbooks, and service reports accurately.

* Support the facilities team with office moves, equipment setups, and general upkeep.

* Assist in setting up meeting rooms and managing AV equipment as required.

About You

* Proven experience in maintenance, caretaking, or a similar all-round building services role.

* Confident across general repairs, plumbing, and basic electrical or HVAC tasks.

* Positive, customer-focused attitude with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork.

* Able to plan and prioritise work, delivering tasks efficiently and safely.

* Basic IT literacy for logging and recording maintenance tasks.

* Relevant trade or technical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
