Senior Binder Technician

About the Role

My client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven Senior Technician to join their Binders Technical Operations division within a leading global insurance group. This hybrid role (London-based) offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technical insurance professional to step into a position where expertise, precision, and collaboration are key.

• Own Complex Processes: Take responsibility for processing intricate technical transactions, with a particular focus on monthly bordereaux for Binding Authorities.

• Resolve Technical Queries: Act as a key escalation point for pre-processing issues raised by offshore teams, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Accounting and Credit Control teams to support premium reconciliation and collection.

• Versatility in Action: Manage ad hoc tasks and support wider operational needs, demonstrating agility and a proactive mindset.

• Industry Expertise: Strong background in bordereaux processing and a deep understanding of insurance operations and regulatory requirements.

• Technical Knowledge: Solid experience with Facultative business, Proportional Treaties, Line Slips, Binding Authorities, and Market Reform Contracts (MRC).

• Bureau Experience: Proven work with the Bureau (DXC), including accounting and settlement protocols.

• Process Strength: Thorough understanding of end-to-end process models, including SLAs and turnaround times.

• Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
