Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Create a positive classroom culture where all children feel safe, motivated, and inspired to learn
  • Use formative and summative assessments to track progress and inform teaching
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, events, and enrichment activities

  • A reflective practitioner with a passion for high-quality teaching and learning
