Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons to students of various abilities
- Develop and implement an effective and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Foster a love for history in students by creating interactive and immersive learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the department
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching history at the primary or secondary level
- A strong passion for history and a desire to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Ability to differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
