SAP MM Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Materials Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of procurement and inventory processes, and experience working across business and technical teams to deliver efficient SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Configure and customize SAP MM module to meet business needs
- Support end-to-end SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
- Work on integration with other SAP modules such as SD, FI, and WM/EWM
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality delivery
- Provide end-user training and create documentation (process flows, manuals, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues in production support environments
- Ensure compliance with business processes and industry best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proven experience as an SAP MM Consultant (typically 3–10+ years depending on level)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Procurement processes (P2P cycle)
- Inventory management
- Vendor management
- Pricing and valuation
- Hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration
- Understanding of integration with SAP modules (FI, SD, WM/EWM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in Materials Management (MM)
- Experience with S/4HANA
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps
- Exposure to global or multi-country implementations
