The successful Reception Teacher will join a collaborative Early Years team with well-established routines, excellent indoor and outdoor learning spaces, and strong support from leadership. The school places a major focus on early language development, phonics and learning through play, helping children build confidence and independence from the start of their school journey. The successful Reception Teacher will: Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons and continuous provision Support early reading, communication and social development Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment Track progress through observations and assessment Work closely with support staff and parentsThe ideal Reception Teacher will: Hold QTS with recent EYFS teaching experience Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics Be creative, organised and nurturing in approach Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour Work well as part of a collaborative teamBoth experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply for this Reception Teacher opportunity.
